St. Andrews North Sea

This day was full of surprises. I was able to go to the beach and sit there and put my feet in the fresh blue water. Just imagine the best present you have eveer received, that is what i got today. I got to view the ocean stare into its depths. looking beyound the horizon wishing I were further and further out at sea. If one longs for the sea what does that say about them? does it say that we know there are depths to this life we have not explored? or that there is adventure flowing through our veins crying out to move and run and swim. No, its more than that, its a small knowing of a very large thing that bring out the longing for the deep. My eyes, my skin, my hairs want to be immersed in the water, seeing creatures that are not even created to live in the same environment as I, feeling the rush of ocean on my skin, drenching my hair in the substance of blue. The change that is created with a dip into fresh water is just a glimpse of real change. We are made for this experience maybe even called to it. When Jesus washes us clean, when he makes us new, he puts a longing into our hearts for the beauty set before us. We may not have to put on bathing suits and snorkel gear to enter the heavens and see its glory. But you DO have to ask to be renewed, to have the old taken off to be completely different in order to walk into the new heaven... you cannot go in with your own prepared scripts of good acts, you can only walk in with pure faith in Jesus and what HE has done for you and believe in your heart that YOU are accounted for... His words are true and he is faithful to keep them....! what a relief

yes i am in the background here in my own little world completely happy about water on my feet... feeling quit happy that i wore proper shoes for the occasion(flip flops) while everyone else wore boots and wondered at my sandal wearing...until now..

i definatly may have stood on that rock for an hour looking at the horizon and watching for dolphins :) my kin
