Buckingham palace, was a major event the other day, there was a painting in the gallery room that made me want to cry. I teared up a bit. (add in photo, find online) the simplicity of the Shepherd’s life gives me a ache in my heart for time alone with God where you are simply listening to his voice, without all kinds of random voices want to steal you away. I want to be able to sit in nature to soak it all into every single pore of my body and to be renewed every moment because I am washed in his presence.
I love this painting, like you it draws me in to the quiet, the heart of peace, the eye of God. thanks for posting it. I am going to look it up on the internet, can you tell me the name of it I can't quite see it. I want to use it for meditation. I love all your reflections, makes me slow down and reflect myself. Great insight about how having your own room affects you. Also, very insightful to become aware of the invitation to be independent and inwardly directed rather than directed by the energy outside of you...hummm lots of potential for growth and deepening... thanks for sharing and being so honest!!!
