Sermon Notes from Dublin Vineyard

10/23/11
We are at Vineyard Church in Dublin:
here are my thoughts/notes from the sermon:
May i tune my voice and create my life for Jesus being my audience. who is it that condems us? after blowing it we withdrawal from God. Satan condems us. But nothing can seperate us from the love of God. How do we live right there in that love? You shall know the truth and it shall set you free. its the truth that we know... hebrews 10:1-3..4-14

Hebrews 10

Christ’s Sacrifice Once for All
1 The old system under the law of Moses was only a shadow, a dim preview of the good things to come, not the good things themselves. The sacrifices under that system were repeated again and again, year after year, but they were never able to provide perfect cleansing for those who came to worship. 2 If they could have provided perfect cleansing, the sacrifices would have stopped, for the worshipers would have been purified once for all time, and their feelings of guilt would have disappeared. 3 But instead, those sacrifices actually reminded them of their sins year after year. 4 For it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. 5 That is why, when Christ[a] came into the world, he said to God,
“You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings.
But you have given me a body to offer.
6 You were not pleased with burnt offerings
      or other offerings for sin.
7 Then I said, ‘Look, I have come to do your will, O God—
as is written about me in the Scriptures.’”[b]
8 First, Christ said, “You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings or burnt offerings or other offerings for sin, nor were you pleased with them” (though they are required by the law of Moses). 9 Then he said, “Look, I have come to do your will.” He cancels the first covenant in order to put the second into effect. 10 For God’s will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time.
11 Under the old covenant, the priest stands and ministers before the altar day after day, offering the same sacrifices again and again, which can never take away sins. 12 But our High Priest offered himself to God as a single sacrifice for sins, good for all time. Then he sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand. 13 There he waits until his enemies are humbled and made a footstool under his feet. 14 For by that one offering he forever made perfect those who are being made holy."
for by his one sacrifice on the cross, he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy... We are growing in spirit. a baby new perfect spirit and we are learning and growing into this new spirit hebrews 10:15-18 "And the Holy Spirit also testifies that this is so. For he says,
16 “This is the new covenant I will make
with my people on that day,[a] says the Lord:
I will put my laws in their hearts,
and I will write them on their minds.”[b]
 17 Then he says,
   “I will never again remember
      their sins and lawless deeds.”[c]
18 And when sins have been forgiven, there is no need to offer any more sacrifices.
this is the covenant i will make with them after that time says the lord." we have been forgiven perfectly. he will never condem us."

"I will put my laws in their hearts." he doesnt put our sins against us... not even the ones we haven't done yet. We still sin cause we are being made holy Hebrews 10:19-24 19" And so, dear brothers and sisters,[a] we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. 20 By his death,[b] Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. 21 And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, 22 let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. 24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works."

we can enter the most holy place VIP. "draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith."
Repentance is turning to God. u have some old habits, that will get you dirty and may hurt you.. the gifts I give you may hurt you depending on how you use them (he says) your own concious may condem you. I don't want you to run from me ever... I have already made provision for the things you may do wrong. Jesus never meant for our sin to seperate us from God... because HIS sacrifice IS PERFECT so therefore it doesnt need to spereate us any longer. In his kindness he restores our relationship and our intimacy with him. Turn and repent to come back. Turn from what hurts. He knows we WILL mess up.

SO... what do we do when we run to him. We give him our dirty stuff and he gives us his clean stuff. His life.. align our behavior with whats true. THT JESUS HAS ALREADY SAVED US! HE LOVES ME>> SAY IT
this sermon really spoke to my heart... it is a little choppy in the translation from the pastor to my phone to my  blog. but you get the point i hope... anyways i realized i had been condeming myself way too much and constantly and i was weighed down by the burden of my lowliness. but then i realized this and the holy spirit spoke straight to my heart so that these words would blossum and change me and my life. He changes me so often I am so grateful ..that day i prayed " lord help me. to follow u more. I am afraid for my paper. But what i need is to remember...Here I am and it is cause of u!!! u have got me where u want me and I trust you to take me where you want me next. even if that means failing classes (dont worry mom i wont)But to be honest i just want to be where you want me Jesus. I pray for your wisdom to know when to work and when to rest. :)
