Havah Bilow blog: Edinburgh

This is Kayla, "Heloo Kayla" hahah my first day meeting up with Kay and Melanie! In Edinburgh before we went to Ireland! it was a most epic day! :)))) man first we ate out,,, i had.. my favorite food *bagel with cream cheese and locks and tomatoe! :)

We were so delighted to see one another! me on minimal sleep :) still couldnt help but to smile from ear to ear!

WOW Edinurgh is impressive I would highly recommend it here. :) sooooo much toooo seee def. a highlight of my travels so far.

hey Josiah i saw these amazing creatures and wanted to buy you one,, but i thought hmmm they are very quit expensive,,, i could give all of them to him in a picture! definatly the better option for both parties! more DRAGONS!

WELCOME TO THE ROYAL MILE this cobblestone street is packed with fabulous little shops holding treasures only found here :) some great charity shops and we found the most epic tea place..

yes behind them is a long way of park and a castle etc. the usual ;)

OK saw this hat thing and bought it at the begining of my travels it is Angora and silk,, got at a vintage shoppe on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh Scotland ( pretty rad) anyway this is me trying it on.

Notice the shoppe and its name "Thistle Do Nicely" hehe (thistle is the country flower symbol distinguishing it in UK and its own England is the Rose,, and Ireland is the .. yes you guessed it.. clover!)

The lady was cutting fudge,,, i felt that she was so kind to do it and she let me take her picture she even smiled :) i think it made her day ;) i love doing that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

heheheh here is the lovely tea shoppe! it is like a home and there were homemade goodies to pick from and i got the PIE~ and that guy smiling in the background,, ended up was very chatting and i went over and tried his pie and he tried mine :) then i invited him to sit with us and he is now my friend and i have visited him already very hilarious fellow (doesnt even have a scottish accent even though he grew up here, he is a voice over guy .. like the one for planet earth )

We ended up walking to Holyrod one of the Queens Palaces (didnt go in, you had to pay) and then we climbed this hill by it :) brilliant i love adventures and being with people who dont need to plan every second, we would just GO and enjoy mmmmm so relaxing.

Went out to dinner, Melanie got vegetarian Haggi's (t is sorta cheating the whole haggis experience,, but it was reall good :)

haha We ended up played charades in the restraunt and literally died laughing... and we had some pretty meaningful talks too :) there for about 4 hours! classic italian dinner timing

Well i actually had a goal for this day,, GO to the BOTANICAl gardens... so off we go! exploring the place, we decide to take the trail that goes right by the river, and we end up in another part of Edinburgh that is even more precious than the one before! my gosh it keeps getting better! i bought myself a sketchbook and pencils promising to sketch more :) do things i love and get better at them!

here is our high tea at the Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh. I had met an Old gentleman on the train from london to Scotland and him and his friends were on their way to edinburgh to have tea and go to the botanical gardens.. that was even before i set foot into Scotland! But i was inspired and here we are :))) so glad
